This data protection declaration applies to our website www.himmelswege.de. This is hosted in a data center in Germany. The content management system used here is TYPO3.

Of course, we observe the legal provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the State Data Protection Act (DSG-LSA), the Telemedia Act (TMG) and other data protection regulations.
preamble

No personal data of the visitor is processed directly on our website. Likewise, no anonymously recorded data will be passed on to third parties.

The subject of data protection is personal data. According to § 3 paragraph 1 BDSG, these are individual details about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, information such as name, postal address, e-mail address or telephone number, but also usage data such as your IP address.
Scope of data collection and storage

In general, it is not necessary for you to provide personal data in order to use our website. However, so that we can actually provide our services, we may need your personal data. This applies, for example, to answering individual inquiries. If you commission us to provide a service, we only collect and store your personal data to the extent necessary for the provision of the service.

Guest book entries, the use of forms, etc. are voluntary. With these functions, the specification of a name, an e-mail address and possibly other personal data is usually expected. This data is stored in the system database and may be displayed on our website. This information is also transmitted unencrypted, possibly saved by your browser and thus made accessible to third parties.
Use of cookies

If cookies are set, they are not personal cookies for identification, they only contain a session ID or something similar that expires after you leave the site. Collection and storage of usage data

Neither the TYPO3 used in the existing configuration collects personal data, nor do we access any existing storage in log files at server level. This website is operated on a server with an Apache2 system that creates log files in which access is logged with IP (access log files). This data is automatically deleted after 7 days and is only used to ward off possible attacks by hackers on the system.

The following data is recorded in these log files:

     Browser type and browser version
     the operating system used
the referrer URL (the one previously visited and accessed from our website
     the operating system used
the referrer URL (the previously visited website linked to our website)
the IP address of the accessing computer (network)
the date and time of the server request
     the transmitted status code
Search terms entered in the search form
     the retrieved document/page

There are corresponding extensions for almost all browsers that anonymize or not transmit a large number of these transmitted data. If you do not agree with this procedure, you are free not to use this website.
Purpose-Restricted Use of Data

We observe the principle of earmarked data use and collect, process and store your personal data only for the purposes for which you have given us. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, unless this is necessary for the provision of the service or for the execution of the contract. The transmission to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information also only takes place within the framework of the statutory information obligations or if we are obliged to provide information by a court decision.
Right to information and right of withdrawal

You will receive information about the data we have stored about you free of charge at any time and without giving reasons and you can have your data collected by us blocked, corrected or deleted. You can also revoke your consent to data collection and use at any time without giving reasons. To do this, please contact the account given in the imprint

web statistics

In order to improve our offer and to estimate the range of our website, we are interested in an anonymous analysis of website usage. For this reason, we use the open source web analytics software Matomo (formerly "Piwik") to create access statistics. More information on this can be found at matomo.org.
This specially adapted, data protection-compliant Matomo installation is operated on a server in Germany. No external web analysis operator has access to this data. The Matomo application is operated in such a way that the IP address is anonymized before it is saved. Likewise, cookies are not stored beyond the session to recognize visitors. After closing the browser window, they are automatically removed from your computer.
OptOut option for Matomo

However, if you do not wish to be recorded by our Matomo system, you can deactivate this here.

Meta Pixel

Our website uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook/Instagram, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland ("Meta") for conversion measurement. This makes it possible to track the behavior of page visitors after they have been redirected to the provider's website by clicking on a Facebook/Instagram ad. This allows the effectiveness of the Facebook/Instagram ads to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising measures to be optimized. The collected data is anonymous for us as the operator of this website, we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook/Instagram, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook/Instagram can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook/Instagram data usage policy. This allows Facebook/Instagram to enable the placement of advertisements on Facebook/Instagram pages as well as outside of Facebook/Instagram. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the page operator.

In the privacy notices of Facebook/Instagram you will find further information on the protection of your privacy:
https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/
https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy/

You can also disable the Custom Audiences remarketing feature in the Ads Settings section. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook/Instagram.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

We use Google Ads to show you advertising on Google and other third party websites. Conversion tracking allows us to determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. Our purpose is to show you advertising that is of interest to you and to make our website more interesting for you. The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent according to Art. 6 (1) lit. a DS-GVO.

The advertising is delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". For this purpose, we use cookies that can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as display of the ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.

These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website of an Ads customer and the cookie stored on his computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Ads customers' websites. We ourselves do not collect or process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. Based on these evaluations, we can see which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising media; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google servers. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google and inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of ads conversion tracking, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider learns your IP address and stores it.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link:

http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin

The provider Google has its headquarters in the USA (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Processing of personal data may therefore also take place in a third country (a country outside the European Union or the signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area). Google undertakes to conclude so-called EU standard data protection clauses within the meaning of Art. 46 DS-GVO. Based on this contractual set of rules, recipients in third countries are also obligated to comply with a data protection standard which essentially corresponds to the European standard.
