
eMuseum Sky Paths
The eMuseum Sky Paths unites the five sites of the Sky Paths in a virtual representation. With this choice of dissemination, the Sky Disc of Nebra and its world can be experienced online.
For the first time, the Sky Disc of Nebra is shared as an perception as an authenic 3D model. A true highlight, which offers the possibility to view the Sky Disc from every direction in detail.
»ArchaeoStories« offer exclusivly for the virtual space developed exhibitions accessible via a variety of media formats (video clips, 3D models, and much more).
Another sector is »Dig Deeper«, as in the true meaning of the word. Here, scientific results and insights of the excavations on the Sky Path sites are illustrated and directly tangible.
At »Free Space« visitors can discover a domain on prehistoric cooking, digital games and a number of coloring sheets available to download and print out.
A free poster exhibition in seven languages (german, english, french, spanish, russian, high arabic and chinese) are on disposal under the title »The Sky Disc of Nebra - Europe´s centre 3.600 years ago« in the download area as another highlight. 19 posters exemplify the Sky Disc and the sites of the Sky Paths.
The eMuseum Sky Paths was developed in the context of the UNESCO - Memory of the World project »Kontextualisiertes Erleben der Himmelsscheibe von Nebra. Schätze der Menschheit im Spannungsfeld zwischen archäologischen Originalschauplätzen und digitaler Welt.« at the State Museum of Prehistory in Halle (Saale).
