The tourism network Sky Paths unites sites and discoveries that connect archaeological and astronomical themes.

Based on the work of the State Office for Heritage Management and Archaeology Saxony-Anhalt, the Sky Paths sites present current research on Neolithic and Early Bronze Age cultures. The achievements of these cultures continue to impress us today. Technological advancements, astronomical knowledge, and the development of social structures were made possible through exchange, external influences, knowledge transfer, and migration.

None of the Sky Paths sites were Germanic cult or ritual places. There is no ethnic continuity between the people of prehistoric cultures and the present-day population of this region. Instead, scientific analyses show that migration played a key role in shaping the origins of these prehistoric communities.

We are open-minded and warmly welcome all visitors, regardless of their origin, identity, or religion.

We firmly distance ourselves from right-wing extremist and nationalist ideologies and strongly oppose any attempts to associate the Sky Paths sites with ethnonationalist or racist views.
