The Nebra Ark visitors' centre at the site of the discovery of the Sky Disc of Nebra is offering guided public tours on 29 and 30 September 2007. Tours of the permanent exhibits at the visitors' centre begin on both days at 1:10, 2:10 and 3:10 p.m. On the 35-minute tour, visitors learn, for example, how the unique bronze disc was produced and how and where it was used. They also gain insight into life in this region during the Bronze Age.
Tours are limited to a maximum of 25 participants. Waiting times are possible at the ticket desk. The cost of the tour is €2,00 per person in addition to the price of admission. The planetarium show is included in the price of admission. Attendance cannot be guaranteed, however, due to the large number of visitors at weekends.
